Sami has over 25 years of work experience and more than 20 years in investment banking serving clients of international and regional platforms in Saudi Arabia. Sami held several positions, including Executive Director, Head of Investment Banking at Natixis KSA, Senior Director of Investment Banking at GIB Capital from 2012 to 2022 and Associate Director of Investment Banking at HSBC from 2005 to 2012. He advised on more than 35 ECM and M&A mandates in the Saudi market in recent years. He advised on many firsts and ground-breaking transactions. Sami’s deal list is extensive and reflects the depth of his knowledge and is a big testimony of his capabilities and leadership. Sami holds an MBA from London Business School, and he passed the CPA examination in New Hampshire, USA. He cleared the CME-1 and CME-5 exams. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Science from the Lebanese-American University. Sami holds a certificate in ESG investing from the CFA Institute.
